I was SO excited when I got a booking to shoot a wedding in Germany. It wasn’t my first international wedding but certainly my first European one! You can see the engagement shoot I also did for Julia and Alex here.
Julia (the bride) happens to be the sister of a photographer friend of mine (Tanja of Kibogo Photography). Tanja lives in Siegburg, Germany and invited my friend Claire and I to stay with her for as long as we liked. Claire and I planned a little Euro-trip and had the most incredible time!
We traveled to a few lovely places in the South of Germany; Koblenz, Bonn, Cologne and also to some of the bigger cities like Hamburg and Berlin. Tanja, Claire and I also had an awesome time visiting Amsterdam in the Netherlands. This was my third time in Amsterdam and it is safe to say it is one of my favourite cities in the world. There is a certain charm to the city I just can’t resist.
After shooting the wedding in Bonn, Germany Claire and I said goodbye to Tanja and hopped on a train to Paris for four glorious days. What a way to end a holiday in Europe. It was the second time I have been to Paris and I enjoyed experiencing the city at a more leisurely pace than the first time I was there.
Here are some of my favourite travel snaps from the trip, I hope you enjoy the journey!
