Valery and Art’s wedding day was an exquisitely beautiful affair. Friends and family traveled far and wide to be there to celebrate with them. Val and Art come from wonderfully warm and welcoming Russian families and these guys sure know how to throw a good party! You might remember Valery and Art from their engagement shoot not so long ago, you can take a peek at that here.
Valery is a wedding coordinator by profession and her amazing attention to detail and modern romantic style was evident throughout the day. My camera and I enjoyed every minute of it! If you’d like Valery to coordinate YOUR wedding, you can get in touch here! Valery has a warm and familiar personality and is the most gentle and kind woman, I’m not the only one who thinks so, it was a common theme during the speeches.
Art looked totally dashing in his white tuxedo and Val and Art’s little baby boy, Max, couldn’t have looked cuter in his black bow tie, even if he tried!
Tanglewood is an absolute dream venue to work at for any wedding photographer, the light and airy spaces to work with are amazing. I can’t recommend this fabulous Wellington winelands wedding venue high enough to any bride on the hunt. ‘Modern elegance’ are words that come to mind when I think of the feel of it.
I LOVED the delicious wedding favours (Honest’s, raw organic chocolate spread) and I sat at my computer with a spoon in my jar whilst editing these photos! Only fitting, I say!
Val and Art, I hope you enjoy looking through these and thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for having me there to photograph this most beautiful day!
l and Art’s baby boy, Max, was there to make sure everything was ‘just so!’
Sebastine worked her magic and Valery loved it!
Valery, you are so beautiful. Inside and out.
We hopped in the car and went down the road to Kleinevalleij for some ‘golden’ portraits..
Ever the wedding coordinator, Valery couldn’t help take a sneak peek before the guests. Everything was perfect!
MOST awesome first dance! Tango time baby! Love the look of delight on their guests faces!
Valery’s dad also wanted to dance with his girl!
